Will Smith isn’t fazed by the persistent rumors about trouble in his 14-year marriage to Jada Pinkett-Smith.
“For me with that type of stuff—you can’t take that personally. It’s a game,” he recently told “Access Hollywood.”
Will considers the gossip par for the course, but he’s not swinging any clubs. The Men in Black actor prefers to just be a spectator.
“It’s just a part of the game. I’m not going to play that part, but I can understand where somebody would have something in their heart where they have to stab at somebody, they have to poke at somebody, but I’m indestructible. You gonna hurt yourself stabbing at me,” he said.
Jada recently denied the rumors, too, referring to them as “ridiculous.” However, she did admit that the celebrities don’t get to spend that much time together, due to their busy work schedules.
“Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects,” she told the French magazine Gala.
While Will is now promoting the third installment of Men in Black, Jada is working on the “Red Table Talks,” which has been described as a web series and a short film, set to premiere on Mother’s Day.
The online show features Jada, Willow and Jada’s mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones speaking candidly on different topics in an attempt to strengthen their bonds.
It’s not clear where viewers will need to log on to watch the show, which has been described as “an intimate and honest conversation about Love, Life, Fame, & Family.”
